Before anyone says, yes the plan was / is to keep my car standard. That said the noise created by a Gruppe or Eventuri is intriguing. I've heard the Eventuri is somewhat louder than the Gruppe and probably isn't best placed for a car that isn't a weekend driver. I was wondering what people's opinion are on both?

I can’t imagine either of them being a problem on a daily to be honest. It’s only really under load when intakes really make some noise, and these cars are pretty lairy standard anyway under load :driving:

i can't see how the eventuri is louder than a full gruppe M box, eventuri is just a cone. That said, both are great, and only really obvious under load.

Ive been out in ZMs with both , neither are particularly intrusive unless you open the taps , as for a comparison between imo the Gruppe is far more defined & aggressive in tone , well worth the spend & i couldn't imagine running a S54 without one

Not heard a Gruppe M but the Eventuri I had fitted to my MR was excellent, well worth the £600.

I have a CSL airbox and I can tell you that if you kick the throttle hard you can not hear it up to 4000 rpm. I love that stealth mod because I appreciate quite long trips. Eventuri and GruppeM should be more quite I think.

GruppeM and Eventuri are both fine on daily drivers.

Intriguing!!!

I think they are a great mod and one of the few Z4M “essentials”, IMHO.
