Gearbox oil

Post by Simon 3.2M » Thu Sep 13, 2018 7:40 am

As part of my ongoing programme for the car, I got the gearbox oil changed yesterday and it has improved the gearchange slightly but more importantly, bar the brake fluid change, the car is where I want it to be :)

I was surprised how much of a difference it made when I did mine too! What fluid did you go for?

What else has been included in the programme? I'm looking for some inspiration for my next modification/upgrade.

The plan is to generally keep the car OEM and use it.

Jobs so far:

Bearing shells
Valve clearances
Engine oils and filter
Gear box oil
Diff oil
Vibra techniques engine mounts
New radiator / coolant
New thermostat
New front discs and pads
Updated nav firmware and disc
Full machine polish

To do:

Brake fluid flush and change
Replace OEM gearbox mounts
Fit poly RTABs
New front top mounts
Poly bush front lollipops
