Water leaking......

Post by Viren » Mon Aug 27, 2018 11:07 pm

As I drove into my driveway I noticed a trail of water, like water dripping under the car, looked like it was coming from the centre. Then parked in garage I looked under the car and saw a small puddle. Looks like it's behind the gear box near the catalyic converters.

Is this just condensation from the AC unit or something else? I was using the AC at the time.

Get a latex glove on and dip your finger in it and see if it's odorless. Coolant also has a colour to it, chances are it's just the AC dumping.

It'll be the aircon.

It's good practice to turn it off a few miles from home, helps dry the system out before you get there, don't need condensation in a car if it's not doing many miles
