Quick Q, for those with a Gruppe M, what do you use to clean the filter? And how do you take it apart to clean all the important bits?

I bought the aerosol version of the K&N cleaning kit.
Loosened everything enough to move and allow removal of the CF Cowel and filter.

Same thing.
Takes about 10 minutes to disassemble, but you get to spray APC/protectant over the the rest of the bits hist you wait for the filter to thoroughly dry.

Just bought one, 2nd hand (serial nr 007 )
What size is the filter?
4"..?
Thinking of just getting a new (dry) one.
Also a black silicone hose instead of that horrible blue piece.

When I asked Gruppe-M in 2016, they gave me the K&N part number for the filter (RF-3301A) and said I could order it from a K&N reseller (MStyle they suggested at the time).
I didn't bother in the end as the only one who could get it (not a stock item) quoted about £150.
Jusrt looked for it again and it's not listed on the MStyle website, but found it HERE (Torqen.co.uk) for £189.

Thanx Trigger, bit hefty! I think as a first I'll look into cleaning it!
I just don't want any sort of oil on my airfilter.
