Engine mounts
I fitted the Vibratech "road" engine mounts a few years ago. Even though I'd already uprated the suspension, the effect of fitting these mounts was very noticeable and was like a further suspension upgrade.
I posted a bit about fitting these things which some might find useful:

Thanks exdos - is it essential to replace the bolts to the aluminium undertray? I doesn't look my Indy did when they did the bearings the other week.exdos wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 9:15 am I fitted the Vibratech "road" engine mounts a few years ago. IMO it is because the undertray gives rigidity to the engine bay structure and the bolts used are "one time only". It seems pointless improving the stability of the engine with the VT mounts only to reduce the rigidity of the structure to which it is attached by reusing the bolts. A case of spoiling the ship...Simon 3.2M wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 9:48 am

I have the VT Competition mounts and the minor increase in NVH (noticeable only at idle) is far outweighed by the benefits described already.
IIRC Beedub changed his on his drive using a jack and axle stands and he found the job to be a major PITA.

Highly recommend the vibratechnics, they improve the gearshift enough to make it a wothwhile mod imo

Easy on ramps, no need to take wheels off. Bar extensions needed to reach from above but not a difficult job. Well worth doing.

Engine mounts
I have read from the members here and on the US forum many positive things about VT mounts. So I decided to go too with the VT road mounts.
Those mounts make the car feel more "robust". However if I had to choose again I would pick the stock ones. Those mount make some noise on the cold start (nothing too noisy) and generally I feel that the plastic parts of the car vibrate more due of them. One other member on the US forum also said that they need to be replaced faster than the stock ones.
