Ho did you find it, really don't enjoy doing black cars!
Backbreaking tbh!

It was the first time I'd used a machine so I took my time and went gently. Seemed to take ages to get out some really fine hazing in the last phase but managed it eventually. Having done my girlfriends silver z3 I'd probably say I preferred doing mine as I could see the defects more easily, but then I guess that's what makes them buggers to get spot on!
what you explain is very normal, and bending over etc is actually crazy the level of fatigue on the body over a prolonged period.

For a daily used £5k Z4....maybe even a £12k Z4M, spending £000's on a top-level professional detail doesn't make a lot of sense to most people. If that chap can deliver those results for £150 then I'd bet that 95% of people would be more than happy with that, so need to hate on that IMO

Beedub (and other top detailers) will always only appeal to the 5% who want next level results. For those people, most will pay what it requires.

That TVR has came out amazing, what a difference to the dull paint in the first pic.
I would rather use someone who knew what they were doing and had experience in what they are doing no matter what the cost rather than someone who had only been doing it a few months and charge a fortune when you have no idea of their experience.
Just because somebody has a certificate doesn't make them an expert.
Some of the best workers work out of their own garage with no overheads or advertising. Just because someone has fancy signs in a new unit doesn't mean a thing.
Facebook seems to be a growbag for new businesses as anybody can set up a business and advertise on facebook. There are thousands of people using this now as a way to con money out of others as some people think they are legitimate businesses when some of them are just losers working out of their mums spare bedroom.

Do you know what Paint Gauge he uses for measuring the thickness of the different layers of paint on a fibreglass car.
