So 2 weeks with the car & its coming round to how it should be .
Its been quite a task getting on top of it & still have a list of "to dos" along with service & MOT next month .
Front bumper will be getting repainted & the steering wheel covers need removing & refurbing , otherwise its just been a mammoth clean + polish job .
Look away now if you have a dodgy stomach , this was the clay after one door panel :o yeah really  used almost a full bar for the whole car but very rewarding to see & feel the paint afterwards

That clay is appalling! I dont think I've ever seen one quite that bad, especially from one panel. Did you use Iron X type stuff first as well?
Another zed turned around by Mr Wilks, it does just go to show what a little bit of elbow grease, the right products/knowledge can achieve.

Just the best thing you could add to a S54 ( other than a CSL airbox)
The amplified induction roar is totally addictive

Congratulations!

From the state of the clay I hope that you didn't think you were buying a black Zed!

Good job on the cleaning - looks great in the last two pics.

Too true, I think it's amazing but I do remember reading on here that another owner didn't like it.

Your clay bar is like the one after I did my M Class tow car for the first time since buying it. After the passenger door.
