Hi guys,
So long story short, I thought I heard a funny noise. I didn't think of it at the time but then it dawned on me that it could be the springs that have broken.
I looked at the rear and on one side i could fit three fingers between between the tyre and the wheel arch and on the other side I could fit two. I'm thinking it's the springs but I can't get under to see. Is it likely to be anything else?
I'm guessing this won't be covered by the BMW extended warranty so I was thinking of fitting some Eibach pro springs. Is this the way to go?
I have a trip planned so kinda need to move quickly on this. How much should I expect to pay a garage to fit these?
Thanks very much for any help/advice!

That’s good timing, I fitted some H&Rs today which lower the car by 25ish mm I believe but ride quality doesn’t seem to have suffered at all

There should be a small difference between left and right ride heights anyway, so I'd say you're better off removing the wheels, taking out the shock bolt and popping the springs out. Takes about 10 minutes per side to have a proper look.

If the spring has snapped it will be covered under Bmw warranty.bjd wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 7:38 pm Hi guys,
