Pre cat lambda replacement costs

The car's been driving fine, apart from the throttle occasionally being slightly jerky at sub 2k revs. I've been quoted by NCB Autokraft around 120 for the sensor and around 100 for the labour, excluding VAT so I'm looking at around £260 in total. Does that seem reasonable?

Be worth checking it's not come loose.

I replaced one last year. The sensor was around £95, but I fitted myself.

The pre exhaust ones are not hard to do if you can wield a spanner.

Might have a tinker tonight but failing that, is this the right part for the job?

You'll need a spark plug socket to fit, if the bracket is in the way it's a bit fiddly but certainly not worth paying anyone to do.

I think if I had a bit more time on my hands I'd definitely give it a go myself but for now I'll get the indy to do it, especially as I don't have the aforementioned spark plug socket.

I ended up buying this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2521223101

which is already a good £80 saving on the part and so the outlay is already less than what I'd been preparing myself for. Been quite stressed about it so I'll be happy just to have it sorted. Thanks for the advice
