Hello again

Post by Chompers » Mon Apr 02, 2018 5:37 pm

After many years away from this forum, the time has now come to get back on the trail of a Z4MR. Prices as they where 5/6 years ago seem all over the place, with mileage not seeming to be an issue.

Thoughts on cars for sale current advise would be warmly welcomed, but for now does anybody have a link to the numbers of the various colours registered? Pretty sure what combo I would ideally like but given the rarity, will have to make a few compromise I guess. The stable of car has changed some what since registering in 2012 so will update as I get back into the swing of things on here.

To those still on here from a few years back, hello

Indeed years pass by but prices still as hard to understand & predict
If Imola red works for you then last week you missed a real peach on 45k at £13500 but that would be against the tide of what we have seen recently .
Just now across the E85 E86 marketplace of Si V ///M the divide is about as big as ever seen , decent sub 100k Si for £6kish makes you really have to want a ///M to find the extra £6k , £8k & more + the whefty £550 year VED is also hard to ignore for the low use weekend users like myself :o

chart here should help with colours

Thank you @mrwilks, that's very helpful.

Am I right a thinking that very early '06' cars are at a lower VED rate?

MR is the way I'm looking to go

You need to speak to Bing about that question. Though to many of us, the MR in question does indeed still really belongs to PVR. He just doesn't own it any more. Cos he fell for a pretty Beetle. l

Certainly won't let the VED rule the purchase, just a bit out of touch with cars that age.

I’m originally from Belfast so know it well as my dad has always bought his cars out of there from Tracey.
