Anyone else think it's just too loud, or am I getting old???

Drive the car for the first time today since fitting it and it just seems so intrusive.

Nope! Always thought it sounded just about right, maybe even a bit quiet sometimes. You get used to it pretty quick don't worry!
Deffo a bit louder this time of year when it's colder though.

Not loud enough for me as the Rogue Diablos on the rear drown it out most of the time.

I want something that is as loud as the RamAir I had on my VR6.

That's a no from me too. Mine doesn't drone when cruising and I think it sounds the dogs when you open the tap. S54 needs an intake like these! :D

I had a RamAir on my VR6, but I don't remember it being this loud.
I then swapped the RamAir for a supercharger, but thats another story all together.

You're right, its fine when driving normally, but I don't drive normally as a rule. The car does about 1k a year, so I tend to enjoy it when I do use it.

Its just so loooooud

I test drove Booners old red M a few years ago, Gruppe M and an exhaust. First thoughts were “If I buy this car that bloody induction silliness will have to come off”.... Too loud for me on induction but the exhaust was brilliant, I’m about to pull the trigger on a pair of BCS boxes. The two together are just OTT but each to their own, I am 51 after all.... :D
