Spotted this in this months edition of Top Gear magazine and thought it might be of interest.

A little harsh on the roadster perhaps....!

Nice little thing, but again it reminds me how often the Z4M is blatantly compared straight to the Z3M... Like it’s some sort of evolution which it of course isn’t.

It kind of is...same engine, same layout and approach....is that not evolution?

Hehe no they’re completely different cars. Z4 is based on E46, Z3 is based on E30(!!!). Just compare the rear axles.. 😄

Thanks for this, I've dropped them a cheery email fwiw. Annoyingly it is a magazine with a large readership

They are not lying are they? Slightly different spring setting and slower steering rack. Roadsters are - in general - refered to as hairdressers cars. This is Top Gear after all, it’s not a very serious car magazine.

As a Coupe owner, I think it’s funny!

This kind of 'motor journalism' isn't anything to do with cars...it's all about market manipulation.

Look at it. What actual useful, factual (dare I say even "true") information does it impart?

Good if you currently own a Coupe though.

Not driven a coupe but love the way my Z4M roadster drives so horses for courses. I also own a 997 turbo S and also love this car for numerous reasons and that’s what counts as far as I’m concerned. I don’t worry about what people or mags say, as long as your happy who cares what others think!
