If you have your wheels on and off a lot it's well worth it imo as makes getting them on so much easier.
I would like to do it but haven't got round yet.

I wonder how easy it is to get the wheel on without damaging the wheel on the studs

fair point, I hadn't really given it much thought. Not that I've used them before but I would have thought it would be fine and you would hear of complaints about such things which personally I never have? For me it's all about trying to get the bolt holes aligned, particularly on the front hubs that can be a pain, then slip em on :?

A Machine monkey wheel bolt tool makes the task a doddle :) simply screw it in , slip wheel over on to hub & then bolt up , , , with hydraulic jack i can swap a set of wheels on drive in around 15mins

As for the wheel stud conversion ? What are the benefits ?

Another good point, thanks for jogging my memory. I'll PM him i think! Other than ease of getting wheels on I'm not aware of any other benefits?
But then there will always be the #becauseracecar crew :D

Wheel studs are great until you start swapping wheels and playing with spacers, knocking them out each time rather than buying a longer bolt is an absolute pita. Once your sorted though they are easier and yes they do look race car 8)

I'll be keeping bolts on the zed, not worth the hassle when I swap wheels and spacers etc

i have them, with Mag wheel nuts for full nerd effect. This setup was about half the weight for each respective wheel, as i take my wheels off a-lot to swap pads this made things simple also keeps the lovely red callipers chip free , they are very strong and i Tq slightly higher due to the semi slick tyres i run, and finally it looks cool AF.

they also can accommodate upto to 12.5mm spacers on each axle, :D :D :D :D :D
