Great vid. I would have hoped that over a few laps, the M would have got away.
One lap from a standing start would have suited the Viper.

It was the lumpant and low powered American version, so not 343bhp. If it had been the full fat European version it would of won and dare I say if it had been the coupe instead of the woolly roadster
it would of walked it!

Good vid. The viper looks huge compared to the Z4MR.
Thanks for posting.

Does your expert opinion come out because you have driven a VIPER? This is so staged it is not even funny. The Z4MC/R is still a reasonably fast car, but a driver who is "on it" in the VIPER in a proper contest is so far ahead, it would not be even funny...
And yes, I do have a reasonable amount of track/wheel time in my brother's Viper, which made a few GT3s weep at various UK tracks...

You'll be trying to tell us the ///M5 touring is faster than a Z4///M next.

Well done!
My comment was in jest. Though I’m sure it’s hard for u to get that! Staged, on Top Gear.... no!!
You don’t know what cars I have driven or have owned, so my “expert opinion” may or may not count for anything. I don’t know why you have this hostility in your comments on such a lighthearted thread. Looks like you’ve had nothing better to do with your time.

On some tracks yes, the Nurburgring times are virtually identical at around 8:12.

That's a pleasant surprise. I was joking and had assumed the M5 was faster
(Note to self, never assume anything)
