I didnt think it was that bad, we both had our opinion and Steve never came back after being the only one to think he was right.

You can apologise on here, or by PM. I'm not fussed.

Jesus. At least hold your hand up and admit that you learned something today. There are many that don't and therefore you are better..!!

I had this debate on another forum. I knew as soon as I replied to OP (who graciously appreciated the advice) that someone else would come along giving their 2c . Anyway, let's move along.

yep, people get things right, they get them wrong, they have arguments about it (which they may or may not get upset about), it's a forum, the world keeps turning

no dont worry didn't think their was an issue with me just wanted to know how you was feeling about the forum..... understand, for whats it worth i have zero social media bar a youtube account for the same reasons, the forums are the in the same category as social media, cut them out if your finding them detrimental to your overall happiness....... i hate to be so boring but the world was a better place without social interface platforms.... a much much better place.
I hear you buddy
And why I like chatting with your self and a select few others
There are much worse forums than this, I'm on another well known BMW forum and it's horrific...
Haha mate I'll pop on max once a month and that is as far I'll go as I'm seriously without any need for it in my life

I think we'll be getting into the realms of a double irony if I could be bothered to reply to that, so, I'll just use a childish gif instead

I guess it’s been put to bed but thought I’d add from my experience.
I phoned brembo when I first saw discs like this, was really annoyed that the disc had been damaged / cut into. After a lengthy phone call and being re-routed to the technical department I too found out it’s for balancing purposes. Learn something new everyday ey? Much like car wheels have weights put on, the brake disc has the weight taken out of the edge... since you can’t add the weight! Never mentioned anything about it being a wear indicator? So don’t think it’s duel purpose.

Charming. Well I'm away in August so my beating will have to wait for some other time. Apologies to those hoping to turn up and see an actual 'fight to the death'
And also my apologies for helping this thread end up even worse than it started, perhaps it's just best to delete the whole sorry affair
