im seeing so many different figures for the weight???

roadster 1410kg and coupe 1425kg is what i though it was??? but then i see some publications listing roadster at 1485 and the coupe over 1500???? surely that cant be right??

So just wondering if anyones actually weighted their car or seen the corner weight figures?
Corner Weight of my Z4M roadster (Total: 1.413kg = no driver / no wheels / with fluids / gas tank 75%)

That's a good weight. Aside from wheels has your Z had any other weight saving? Seats? :)

Nothing I can think of (my car has Bilstein PSS-10 / CSL wheels / AP racing front & Rear)

Assuming Franzinos car weight was minus wheels and tyres, it could be more of a difference than 40kg if that thread is right? Edit to say 48kg, total of 1461kg, 22 less than mine. Maybe a shade more fuel in mine, some from options maybe? Bit of English mud in the arches and sills? :rofl:

Usually just the rim is about 10kg, so 4 wheels will be quite a bit more than 40kg. More like 70-80 I guess.
With extremely light wheels (OZ superleggerra and such) you can save about 4-5kg/corner. But that too comes at a price (they are known to crack on heavy track use)
On tyre weight very little is known, but those also vary (and obviously worn tyres are lighter too, you can notice that when you swap tyres and pick a new one up after you had a worn one in your hands)

At first I thought what a strange way to weigh a car without wheels, but its probably done on a hub mounted system which will give much better access to coilovers for dialing in the balance of the car. Very clever to do it that way.

If you missed this =>

Z4M roadster on a car weight (used for the weight of trucks) => Total: 1.440kg = no driver / with CSL wheels / with fluids / gas tank at least 50%. I also put my M2 on this scale and it was exactly the weight that was stated in the M2 brochure.

Correct! This is how they did it...it's the best an easiest way for corner weight :D
The guy made a track vs street alignment on my request.....don't know the exact numbers....but this is how it drives @ Spa :wink:

Mine came in at 1475kg on the corner weight scales with 3/4 tank and 80kg in the drivers seat, that seems too light though?
