Just out of interest, how do M's run on 19's? A set of copy CSL's would be nice but are they more for looks?

Mine can be a little harsh at times depends on the quality of the surface.
Also mine is lowered.

I daily mine and the ride is fine. Stock suspension.

These are M359 19" wheels from E92 competition pack. No more perfect fitment/offset exists - I still can't believe they don't rub ever!

Really nice. Like the concave on the fronts - more than CSLs.

Yeah I love the concave - it's created because of the aggressive offset.

Any issues with rubbing on the E86? The factory suspension setup is different to the E85 (stiffer but also slightly lower?) so I was under the impression the fronts would scrub.

There is a slight rub in reverse on full left lock, catches the headlight door on the driver side.

Could be different if the car was on stock suspension.

I use BM Autosport reps with Eibach Pro springs, 235/35-19 and 265/35-19. No spacers.

No rubbing, good comfort, great looks! :)

19s for show.

18s for go.

(Disclaimer: the M3 on 18s is not mine. If it helps I opted for 18” CMWheels 437ms on my Z4 Coupe 3.0si however.)

My own take - 19's are too much wheel for this car. Looks too big to my eye. And unless you have outstanding roads, there's no way I'd consider 19's as you'll get beaten to death over anything but the smoothest surfaces.

BMW chose well when they opted to put 18's on this car IMHO.

Visually the car looks like it was made for CSL's. Otherwise so many folk wouldn't do it. Better looks while still being seen to use an authentic BMW sports car wheel. The 18's felt pretty good on my first few potholed adventures. I think I will wait until I can get a passenger ride in someone elses to decide. I would hate to start rattling the trim off.
