i know this is a long shot but you never know.... im after the boot lid stoppers so the boot doesnt foul the hardtop when its installed...... dont suppose anyone has sone either lying around or installed on their car that doesnt need them?? if you have and wish to sell them let me know please as my car doesnt appear to have these little stoppers installed..... looks like bmw forgot to install mine as all the other hardtop prep parts are present...... these parts are now discontinued as far as i can see from real oem.

I'd check you need them first. Mine doesn't even have them and it has never been a problem.

cool illl check but i know one day ill forget, fling up the boot lid and ........ expensive damage... for the cheap insrance they provide id like to get hold of a set if possible!! im guessing this thread will provide fruitless anyhow :cry: :cry: :cry:

I think you can still get them anyway Beedub, although it says "ended" there is a new part below it with a different number.

arhhhh awesome.... ill drop my dealer a call.... i guess i should rely on realoem to much...... will still leave this thread in place however incase someone has a spare set/unused set tehy are willing to part with :-) thanks for the heads up. ;-)

I think under german law, car manufactures have to produce parts up to 10 years after a model has discontinued?

edit dealer called me this morning to say this parts are on world wide back order!!!! in other words i cant get these boot stoppers!!! now i feel kinda miffed as i think it should have come with these from the factory, so i guess my post still stands!! i need these little plastic stoppers, anyone that doesnt have a hardtop and has no intention or is selling their car please help me out if possible!!! i don't want to have to ghetto make these parts out of rubber hosing....

maybe someone has a spare set hidden away??

anyone!!! pleeaasseee??

Well, they're cheaper than I thought they would be!

or you can just wrap enough tape round that bit to cover it and act as the stopper (I think that's what the previous owner of my car has done) :P
