High quality, bespoke 3 part luggage set for E89

Post by IRD » Tue Jul 20, 2021 11:24 am

Having sold my 3.5is. I have for sale a bespoke 3 piece luggage set to fit the boot of an E89. It was purchased from German firm koffer24.com. We used it only once so it is in ‘as new’ condition. I have included an advert from their website with the current price in Euros.
If you are interested I am looking for £85.00 collected.

I have one of these sets and highly recommend it.
The two big cases hold a lot more than you'd think possible.

GLWTS.

They look beautifully made and I'd have them, but I can't imagine you'd get the roof down with them inside

And the car has always got it's roof down :driving:

Yes you can! That's exactly the point of them. Maximise the luggage space but still allow the roof to operate.
You do however have to raise the roof to get them in and out.

Do they all fit in the boot with the load cover over and the roof down, or just a couple of them?

Ours always has the roof down too - unless it's absolutely peeing it down (even then I just try and drive a bit faster!!)

To expand on that, the flat one goes sideways across the rear, to level the boot floor. The other two are tapered to be wider at the end opposite the handle. They go in, side by side, on top of the flat one, with the base towards the front of the car.
We just came back from a long weekend in the lakes with the roof down and each case only 2/3 full, including hiking boots etc.

Just realised you're probably a million miles away from me so won't be able to collect and the postage would probably be prohibitive.
I don't think you'll have a problem selling them - they look very nice

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. If you are ever in our part of the world. Near Lincoln I would be more than happy to buy you a pint. We have been out dog walking while these queries came in. You did a brilliant job of answering them.
Cheers

Did you notice I had some dog guards for sale which we bought for previous BMWs we owned. Could you work your magic on helping me to sell those?

Ha! No worries.
You're on your own with the dog guards though, so better reduce that to half a pint.

I was even going to offer a second pint if we could get rid of the dog guards.
