Looking for a good set of standard headlights with the orange indicators.
Must be halogen not xenon.

Headlights (halogen and orange)
Black or silver?
Also worth noting you may struggle to find a pair!
The blacks seem to be more plentiful so I’d recommend keeping eyes on FB marketplace and eBay.
There are a few facelifts for £400 and the pre facelifts average around £200! Good luck!

Not sure I mind. Blacks could work well as would silvers. So long as they have the orange hockey-stick indicators.
I could potentially swap for my facelift silvers with clear indictors, but given the price difference would likely want some money my way too, if anyone was interested.

So you’re in effect downgrading?
Often it’s the other way round! Why are you doing that out of interest?

Is it a downgrade though?
In the eye of the beholder surely?
I like the orange indicators, and also prefer the early style rear lights.
Maybe the halogen bit is a backward move, but not an issue unless you go out after dark.

Yeah, I know it comes across as a bit backward, but I love an orange indicator. With my Monaco Blue car and the bronze wheels Im thinking it would be a nice balance and easy mod to do. Current headlights are halogen anyway so I wouldn't be downgrading the light power or effectivness.
I also love the rear lights of an early Zed. For me its the closer alignment to the original concept I like. Wish they’d fit a coupe!

Well, while I said I like them, I'm not sure though that they work on that, with the white side reflectors?

Totally agree. Thats the only thing thats going against them at the moment for me (and a good cheap reason to test!). Not sure I want to swap out the reflectors too. Maybe its best left as is.

Does yours have the silver internals on the headlights, or is that part of your photoshop?
I'm wondering whether binning the orange idea, but going for black backs may work well with the darker paint?

Mine has the silver internals. Black inserts could be a smart option. I’ll get photoshoppng!

Could work, especially with the all black grilles you have.
I reckon your next step would then be smoking the reflectors on the corners.................. and so it continues.

Why not? I’ve facelifted my rear. So you’ll be able to go the other way as well. Just a thought.

The orange hockey sticks are a great idea, but they do jar with the white reflectors. I’m keeping the headlights, but swapping to amber reflectors. I’ll post a pic when they arrive.
