BCS powervalve back boxes for Z4M

Post by R_P_M_ » Wed May 12, 2021 12:39 pm

BCS power valve back boxes for z4m coupe and roadster. Bought off a member on the z4 forum last year but I never got round to fitting them.

£600 collection from Manchester.

Cheers.

BCS powervalve back boxes for Z4M

Couple of questions if I may.

Any reason why you didn’t fit them?
How many miles have the done?
Are they the sport or prestige version?
Are these the boxes Mr Wilks had?
Would you be prepared to meet half way, I’m in Shrewsbury

Previous advert with more details on mileage etc viewtopic.php?f=7&t=123157&p=1759882&hilit=bcs#p1759882

I bought them in July, wanted BCS to fit them but they were too busy so I held off and then got to winter so the car was SORNd. Since bought a high spec Clio race car and have decided to sell the Z4m.

They apparently didn't take forward the two versions, and just put one on the market. I think it's a bit closer to the prestige one. Worth a search of the forum as I think it's discussed at length how they were developed and what the final version ended up as.

I am at Loton Park hillclimbing my Clio this weekend so I can do better than half way!

Somewhat of a bargain id have to say , i really can't see anyone being disappointed with any aspect of these boxes , the quality finish , the fit & the tone are all as good if not better (imo) than many of the bigger names .

Yes i have , GruppeM alone can't be faulted , it just gives out the best aural tone any S54 driver could want , adding any aftermarket boxes will dilute that & depending on which ones (RPI spring to mind here ) totally take over .
I have never been satisfied with the ZM pea shooter pipes , they look unfinished , undersized & lack any visual or tonal presence so my target when i went down the BCS route & helped them design these was to be quiet enough so i could sneak off the drive at 6am but open the taps & you know they are there  i think mission was accomplished . Remus & Stromung are decent alternatives but you pay heavily for the branding & for me they don't look as good in the holes as the BCS do .

Didn’t realise they’d started up again.

Is it the normal HDLCC meet, and do you know if it’s open for spectators? If not, I’ll have to get my orange probans out of the loft and blag my way in :P
Trigger’s Z4MC
Some bits now over 163,000 miles, some less than 1,000 miles.
