E86 coupe indoor car cover

Post by inkey$ » Mon Mar 01, 2021 3:50 pm

I have an official BMW indoor car cover, but its a kind of crinkly material with semi-fleece inner.
I want to get one of those lycra type elasticated ones instead. Can anyone recommend one through experience, or has one for sale?

Thats an impressive price. Is it soft touch and do you have any photos of it on the car? I used to have a stretchy, lycra type material one for my Z3MCoupe and it fit like a glove whist being super soft.

This is the one I currently have (pics sourced from internet, not my car)
OEM E85/86 cover (with storage bag) - part number 82110417600. But I find it a little too heavy duty.

Because of this link, I ended up buying one myself. I chose to go for small, I figured 15mm shorter than the E86 overall length would make it nice and tight but not impossible to put on. I was right! Really easy to put it on by myself too.

Bought a black stretch lycra type from 'classic additions limited' not too cheap at around £150 but fits like a glove, snug n tight. Will try and post a picture later today.

That looks really good.C4Dman. I might try the eBay one first - small per lucasxdiniz so I get the snug look - and if it doesn't hold up or last, get one of the classic additions ones.

No problem, brought it outside especially for you, any excuse! They have a size chart selection thingy on their website, also sent them a quick message to check size was correct, with a quick response.
