NO LONGER WANTED Passenger Airbag Light 6940457

I'm after a Passenger Airbag light - specifically with part number 6940457 as pictured.



(Picture is from Wookster78 who was kind enough to take a photo of his whilst assisting me with my retrofit)

Please note: Part number 6954788 as found in the retrofit pdf appears to be the WRONG item for my 2003 model.
(I already have this one and it doesn't work and the 2 pins are spaced differently... and it's not a faulty part, I've tested with multimeter and it's fine)

I'm also going through the same challenge as you attempting to get a retrofit added to my 06 M so I don't have to sell it when November comes....
I think the 6954788 is for 06+ (I think there was a change in airbag control module) and therefore the airbag off circuit design.

I would be interested in taking it off your hands if you still have it.
Sadly my 06 hasnt got the wiring in place so I think thats going to be the the biggest issue!

That would probably make sense - the light came with the piano black trim I purchased. I do believe it was off an 06 or 08. As soon I get the correct one I’ll happily give you the one I currently have
