Sourced, No Longer Wanted Front Shock For 2006 Z4C 3.0Si

Post by Z4Couple4me » Thu Jun 25, 2020 5:50 pm

Hi Guys,

Anyone got a drivers side front shock for a E86 3.0Si?

Needs to be in usable condition (no more than 70K miles ideally) to use for a bit until I can replace the whole lot with Bilsteins.

Many thanks.

First off I'll admit that I have no idea if they would fit so you might need to do some checking, or possibly someone on here might know the answer!

Anyway I have the full set of OE shocks that came off my M Coupe last September when the previous owner had coil-overs fitted that have done just over 70K miles.

If they might be any use to you all you need to do is collect them from GU47, because they're pretty heavy and I really couldn't be a*sed with trying to box them!
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

I’m about to change my shocks all round, my cars done 68K it’s a 30Si roadster with M-Sport suspension.

My rear Shocks are goosed. Don’t Imagine fronts are in great shape either tbh

That's a very kind offer Mr Tidy. I have a feeling it might fit but not sure, I'll have to check compatibility. Was thinking of just changing one side to get me through 6 months or so. I will need to change the whole lot to make the car balanced as the ride is stiffer & lower than a Si stock set up (i think), would prefer a straight swap if possible.

I will get back to you if that's OK

Many thanks.

Hi Stretch, I'm interested. Please let me know once you have them off and if they are in usable condition we can come to an arrangement with price and shipping. I live in North London so will have to be posted if that's ok with you.

Many thanks.

If the above doesn't work out, I have a usable front shock in my garage clearout thread.
