OEM-ish BBK for non-M E85/E86
BBK for non-M E85/E86 cars
Consists of:-
CSL 345mm discs
335i Calipers (painted Burnt Orange)
E89 brake hoses
These bolt directly on to non-M cars. Fitting under 18’s you’ll need a 5mm spacer with 108’s but aftermarket wheels should clear.
These are a great upgrade in terms of both stopping power, and looks. Used for roughly 3000miles with no issues discs are still over 28mm thick. Pads have 70% material left (being conservative) Pads were chamfered to avoid any lip formation. Only thing I haven’t sourced is a pad wear sensor, which might require some splicing if you want it.
Based on the pioneering work in this thread.

This is a very attractive upgrade - it's a shame we can't get the standard 348MM disks to fit as they're just over £100 for the pair!
This looks good value considering the price of those CSL/Z4M discs

Quick question, I just put some of these front callipers (335) with 348mm discs on my 1 series (2009 E81) and they look much better than my 2.0 Z4 (2008 E85) which has the 325mm(I think) 3.0Si set up.
Are you sure that you can’t just buy a set of 348mm m-tec discs? (I’m tempted to also put the 335 callipers on my E85 but don’t fancy paying for the CSL discs...?)
3.0Si fronts on my E85 with 19” wheels: 335 fronts on my E81 with 18” wheels
(Yes the disc is backwards, was a trial fit and has since been swapped around) The 335 callipers is so big it looks so much better than the weedy looking 3.0Si calliper.
Great upgrade for whoever buys it

I believe the thread linked covers off that there’s a difference in depth that renders it impossible.

Get the correct 345x28 drilled 4M front discs. Think stoptech do one in this size, I have worked it all out but the sheer cost of the 4M disc almost makes the project uneconomic for me, especially when the freight component is added on (We are in NZ).
As Darkangelv2 says all the info needed is on the threads above.

And my splitter is a full carbon fibre APR splitter (originally from USA I think)
Here’s some better photos (I love it)
