Can I assume yours broke when changing the oil filter?

I’ve been struggling to get into this cage to swap the filter and I’ve been informed I may need to ‘break’ the cage

Nope, got 2 pry bars either side and just gently levered it out. Took some force though.

Now Projectless :(
