I am fitting a new hood to my car during the next fortnight - the old one is sound and undamaged -- just shows the normal signs of age with creases and shiny wear marks from being down for large parts of its life. It is clean and has been recently treated with Autoglym proofing. If its of interest I can send pictures. I have no idea what it would be worth ( if anything )

as per above I have fitted the new hood - I have had 2 messages from "Sail" but the forum will not allow me to reply - my apologies to him for not replying - the old hood now has a cut about 10cm along the bottom edge from the nearside front where the plastic trim locates into the bow (it was very, very reluctant to separate) ---- if its of any use please send a message with a way to contact outside of the forum. The hood is located in Hampshire and free to anybody that has a use for it.
