Z4m rear bumper freshly resprayed

Post by tobie » Fri May 17, 2019 6:59 pm

Selling my freshly resprayed z4m bumper in stratus grey
The bumper is in mint condition and I haven’t even fitted it since the resprayed.
I was going to do a quad exhaust conversation but ended up buying a house sooner then I thought so it’s not priority anymore :(

£750
Collection only
Location Leicester

Thanks

£750, you are really going to struggle there. Very few stratus coloured cars out there, so most buyers would need to paint.

+1

As a reference point, the 'majority' go for around £250

Wowsers, that’s big money for a bumper! I paid £300 for a mint one about 18 months ago.

Very strong money, for reference I paid £120 for my bumper then paint so around £350-400 all in so basically half the price.

Congrats on the house and hopefully you manage to sell the bumper for a happy medium

Edit: I assume the lower grill also comes in the deal?

I paid around £400 for mine, so not that high considering paint is immaculate and never been fitted.

Where did you find one that cheap?! I've seen battered bumpers go for more!

I only paid £250 for mine, in excellent condition, in Sapphire black, (so no respray needed for me). Had all the PDC sensors in and the grill piece.

Just on eBay, had a few scratches etc but needed a respray anyway so was perfect for my needs.

I knew it would be!

FWIW if that’s more or less what the bumper owes you and if you still plan at some point to do the quad conversion then I’d keep the bumper. If you sell it now for what people are mentioning and then have to buy another and get it sprayed the numbers get big.. As stratus grey was never an M colour the chance of you finding someone is pretty small...

I know what buying your first house feels like financially but you soon get over it!

Tbh it’s owes me more then what Iv put it up for so you are probably right plus I paid for a decent paint job where they even copyed the oem orange peel as I’m pretty ocd 😂

Your old z4 has now got a z4m front bumper new 108 alloys and d2 coilovers I have also changed pretty much all of the components underneath for new parts and power flex bushes 😬

Hows the new z4 coupe compare?
