I bought it for my E89 2.0 as it did not have Bluetooth audio (just telephone) and this allowed me to attach in my iPhone and stream Heavy Metal to the stereo and move through the tracks using the buttons on the steering wheel and also to view the tracks on the iDrive display.
Tomorrow I'm picking up my new Zed a 35iS which unlike my 2.0 isn't poverty spec as someone on the forum recently described. The new car has Bluetooth audio and so the Tune2Air is no longer required.
It's in excellent working condition and still has the protective film attached.

I've got a used (only bought it in December as a stop-gap until the Android screen was here) Tune2Air for the BMW up for sale.
Music streaming via Bluetooth.
This, basically, turns your current stereo, that only has the option of a fixed iPone connection, into a wireless connected streaming service for iPhone and Android devices.
No other Bluetooth adaptor on the market has the ability to be controlled by the steering wheel buttons (no matter what they might state!!)
Fits any model that has both the AUX and USB ports (MUST have BOTH).
Works with iDrive and standard OEM head units.
Works with Apple and Android devices via Bluetooth (this is NOT a handsfree calling device)
Any audio being played on the phone will be transmitted to the stereo. Steering wheel controls will control apps like Apple Music, Android Auto etc
Music titles etc will be displayed for Apple devices but not Andriod.
