These are actually up on eBay, but I know how people like to keep tabs on how much these and the hardtops go for. And if anyone is feeling particularly frivolous, feel free to get in on it.

Invest in a set now and you'll be able to trade them for an ///M in a couple of years

Last UK sets up went at 217 and 200. This is a recent high. Never mind an M market watch. At this rate the side covers will need a thread to themselves. :dizzy:

It's been raised many times and never got off the ground.

I still can't believe no one has bothered to try and remanufacture these. They are only plastic with a twisty clip. Hardly groundbreaking technology.

Guys,
I have the facility to 3D print, with the scanner too. I just need a set to do it too?

Not sure the quality would be 100% but worth a shot if anyone wants to PM me with their set? I do this kind of thing all the time for lotus to reverse engineer thier components.

I'd be interested in some replicas if the price wasn't so painful.

I think the issue in the past having a scanner an printer large enough, it seems the printers that were affordable weren't large enough

If someone can give me dimensions I will check at work tomorrow, cheers.

Scanner, not an issue, we’ve recreated TVR chassis, surface area in the printer will be the constraint.

I've tried to help gain traction on this numerous times - no one's been willing to loan me a set for a month or 2 to take measurements and model (The reason I said about 2 months is to fit in in between life in general).

Besides, print size shouldn't matter too much, at least not for the proto-typing because you could easily print them in parts and glue together for the first test pieces just to check sizes and fitment etc.

My largest printer (printable area) is 300mm W x 300mm D x 400mm H (Creality CR-10S). One day I hope to invest in the CR10S (Pro maybe) with a 500 x 500 x 500 printable area
NO LONGER OWN A Z4 SO NOT AS ACTIVE HERE ANYMORE (IF AT ALL).
