CSL Reps & Tyres

Anyone thinking of selling theirs, I’d be very interested. Especially if you’re based in the southeast.

Thanks

Just buy them from CM Wheels and get a set of fresh rubber off Blackcircles.

CM Wheels also offers discount to forum members (which usually covers the cost of a set of new Bimecc lugs and bolts).

I’ve used him twice (on 2 different cars) and can vouch for both the quality in merch and service.

Which CSL reps do you recommend? I saw some 18" on a z4c today which looked good, I was worried that only 19s would work....

Really depends on your preference.

19s for show.

18s for go.

I had 18” CM 437Ms on my Z4 which were lighter and wider than stock 18” MV2s and so my ride was improved.

I currently have 19” CM CSLs on my M3 which are lighter and wider than stock 19” 67Ms so grip is improved, however I also have CSL tyre sizes which use a lower profile and so on bumpy roads I notice a slight decrease in comfort.

When I take my M3 on track next year I will invest in a cheap set of square 18” 67Ms.

If your in the southeast it might be worth popping over to BM Autosport in Eastbourne.

That’s where I got my atomic reps. They have a 33 offset on the rear so the concave is not far off the genuines (et27)

Thanks R60BBA,

I am debating whether to go 19" or stick to 18" and I am more inclined to stick to the 18" to avoid a crashy ride, but would like to "see" what the 18" look like. Thanks for the pointer to brucietheboy on Instagram.

I was considering that but I’m rolling on OEM suspension so I’m a little concerned it’s going to look like a Truck. If I can save some money getting secondhand that would be ideal.

I’m also wanting 19” - just looks so good

Tbh from driving with 19s on an M3 I wouldn’t advise 19s on a Z4.

But people do manage it. I guess it just depends on the tyre size you opt for and your suspension set up.

I believe Mr Wilks is the best person to speak to on this matter.

Probably depends on the condition of the roads near you too... Mine are shockingly bad...
