Bargain. They are so well made I don’t think you’re conceding anything buying these second hand.
2008 Z4MC: heavy wheels | crap suspension | skittish rear end | wobbly engine | not enough induction noise | underwhelming turn in | inconsistent braking | lardy battery | chubby steering wheel

The only thing they are prone to is the cracking of the laquer/powdercoating on the front springs (at least on the linear springs)
And then corrosion creeps under the powdercoating resulting in blistering paint.
My V3 set also has linear springs and are much worse than this set (but my set is also older hand has way more miles).
but stil my car has always been garaged so that is not enough to stop this corrosion. But I dont think it has real negative effects on the spring; I never heard of a kw from spring breaking.
Still I plan to have them re-powdercoated some day.
The rear progressive springs dont seem to suffer, so I dont know why the front linear springs have this.
From what I've seen the progressive front springs on the v3 z4m sets don't seem to have this problem as much. But a linear spring has its appeal of course performance wise.

Who is no. 2? What does PM Sent mean on its own? Sending a PM to someone saying you've fed the cat!?
Controversial post perhaps but the forum rules wouldnt be being adhered too....

I have exactly this set up with the KW camber plates as well as H&R ARBs. It absolutely transforms the Zed's track behaviour. Tom, don't hesitate, just buy it
Z4MC - heavily fettled for track use
Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty

All going to plan I should pick them up next weekend. Very excited to try them, I had my heart set on intrax 1k2 but at another 3k on top of these it's difficult to justify (even in my head!). I'm sure these will be great for my needs since the car rarely gets driven on road these days I'm not really fussed about ride quality.

That was my attitude too - mine saw more track than road miles in the last few years. You can back off the bump and rebound anyway and with 18” wheels it’s bearable (so long as you know a good dentist to fix your broken teeth when you do encounter an unexpected pothole )
