To be honest I think you'll find 296's a tough sell on the forum as they have such a poor reputation for cracking. I ended up weighing a set in for scrap because of it. Fortunately I was lucky and got a brand new set of 313's with tyres for £1000.

I'd say your best bet is eBay.

Hi, I should think their poor reputation for cracking doesn’t help any sales prospects-they’ve got to be priced low to sell imho! :(

I have them on my recently purchased e89, and they are a nice looking wheel.
the previous owner had replaced one rear due to cracking, but on the potholed roads, especially if its a daily on runflats, there is a risk of cracking.
I intend removing the runflats in the not to distant future, but I only use as a weekender, and can choose the better roads for a jolly.
to the best of my knowledge, once runflats are removed and the right tyres are fitted, the risk is reduced.
I don't think its just the 296, also 326 and probably others.
if I had spare cash, I would possibly take the new wheel at a keen price assuming its a rear, as handy to have a spare.
but have to replace the runflats first, which is a more important use of my cash.
glws, but unfortunately, people, unless in my situation, are wary of buying a set of wheels spending hundreds, when they can opt for something with less risk involved.
