Front lollipops / wishbones (ideally polybushed)

Post by motoroller » Tue Aug 07, 2018 11:03 am

As above, looking for polybushed lollipops and wishbones. Normal ones would do too if someone has a set they didn't get round to putting on their car!

Mine is tramlining a little so before getting new tyres and tracking, this seems like a worthwhile change.

I have a dead set that I removed from my car if you wanted to buy polybushes and press them in?

If you're swapping wishbones then surely you want new ones?

If I'm pushing in new poly bushes, I don't think it makes a huge difference?

You can't poly the ball joints. I'f youre going to the effort (and it can be considerable!) to get your current ones off, just put new arms on and poly lollipops.

mine came off very easily with a cheap three leg puller from Screwfix, pressed the new ones on with a mallet, took an hour and a bit including jacking the car up.

For the lollipops yes but the arms can be a PITA. The OP seems to be looking for arms as well, hence my suggestion to not bother with anything other than new ones if he is going to replace.
Poly should fit easily (though one of my recent set didn't...)

What's a reasonable amount to pay for OEM and for polybushed lollipops?

Mine's got a fair bit of tramlining so as well as changing the Potenzas I'm doing any other work that might be necessary. Is it necessary to change the other bushes at the same time? I've seen a few wishbone / tie rod / track end / lollipop sets for sale.
