Cheap strut brace

I spotted this strut brace for sale near me tonight on Facebook Marketplace. I'm not in the market for one but happy to organise a sale for anyone interested.

It's currently on for £42. Spoken to the guy and he definitely still has it

Hi Greg, if Simon doesn’t take this then I would be interested if it will fit my 2.2 z4 e85 roadster. Does the advert state the model it fits?

I can find out. Do you use Facebook? If so you can search Marketplace for "Z4" in Edinburgh you'll see it.

It apparently came from a 3.0i e85 if that helps

Pretty sure this will share many models, e46, e85 and e86
M54 engine I can see so pretty sure fitment will be okay.

I've got a e46 one in mine, fits and works perfectly

The only issue i could see with it fitting the 3.0SI would be clearing the oil filler cap... it's a bit further back than an M54, pretty much in line with the strut towers! could be worth a punt at that price though, and can always sell it on again if it's not right

I'm arranging to collect this from the guy over the next few days. Simon has agreed to take it.

I have an identical design one and it clears the oil filler cap just fine.
