BMW Stlye 296 2 front wheels + 1 cracked rear

Post by arl10 » Thu Mar 01, 2018 5:07 pm

Bought these for my 2009 3.0 E89 sold one good rear , 1 cracked in 2 places left
The fronts have marks from use but are free from cracks and buckles , the tyres need replacing £350 for the lot .
cash on collection would be better as they are heavy !

Hi Cumbria ! The wheels are fairly clean to be honest , I wish I had 4 but I got an offer for the rear that I couldn't refuse .
I am trying to upload some pics but not working at the moment .

This is only my opinion so feel free to ignore it.

The two front wheels are worth about £100 each if you remove the tyres yourself, I’d want to pay a little less if you leave them on as it’s going to cost me more for postage with them on and then it’s going to cost me to get the tyres removed.

Depending on the brand of tyre on the rear it would be worth £50 max but it would have to be a top quality tyre for that. The wheel itself is scrap, trust me I’ve got 30 years of working with metal and it’s just not worth repairing again.

Not wanting to be insulting arl but I’d do yourself and the world a favour by hurling that rim into the nearest council dump and be done with the thing. Looks a complete disaster.

Best of luck selling the fronts, nice wheels.
