That should fit and Z4 with sports seats as they are all the same, rather than Alpina specific.
Not a cheap item from the Dealers either.

While the seat frame is the same, the Alpina padding is different from that on a standard E85 so, while the foam should fit on the frame of any (pre-facelift) E85, I wouldn't be certain that the standard covers will be a perfect fit over the Alpina foam

When I replaced all my foams last year, Sopers spec'd them as the Standard Sport Seat foams, (obviously not the SE as that doesn't have the adjustable thigh rest)

Fair enough, the fit must be the same and it must just be the type/layers of foam that are Alpina specific - there's a nice story about the development of the RS, with Alpina engineers swapping seat cushions while driving down the autobahn at 100+ mph to get the 'seat of the pants' feel right.

You may be right but here's the spec - and price for anyone considering a bid on the ebay item..

That’s looks more like an SE base. There is no separate thigh support on it.

I think you're correct Steve.
Also the part No on the bag is 10.7.053.804 My base was 10.7.896.164

Buyer beware, but it looks a perfectly good SE seat
