Used with iPhone 6 and being adjustable means it also worked great with new iPhone X.

Is the charging connector built into the holder?

Apologies for the delay.

The holder is designed to have a lightning cable slot into the bottom of the holder. The phone then sits into this when the phone is put on the mount.
