E86 OEM Suspension Parts

Post by adam1985 » Thu Mar 22, 2018 8:53 pm

So was tidying out the garage lsat weekend and found these. Been in there since mid 2015 when i changed them out for a B12 kit as the rear springs had gone.

So I have four OEM shocks which had covered about 24K miles they appear to be in good working order.

And I have two OEM front springs

Dont expect they are worth all that much say £50 for all the shocks and £20 for the springs?
Prices are collected from Newcastle upon Tyne but can look into postage costs if anyone wants

Are you planning on putting these on an E85? If so, I think the coupe damper and springs are rated differently to the roadster to account for the extra weight of the roof and hatch. Might not make an ounce of difference in reality - and may be an improvement over your tired originals , but they're not the same and you might find a difference in handling compared to comparable e85 items?
Now Gone - 2008 Coupe, Montego Blue, Champagne leather and Piano Black interior, Eibachs & Koni Sport shocks, Style 230 19s, Eisenmann Quad - approaching perfection...

I do love them but part of me wants to put it back to a drivable sort of height and fit some 108s for summer. Had it 2 years nearly and its just been a paperweight due to how low it is

Stick a bag of sand in the boot if it is too hard on the ride!

No their going on an E86 with damaged suspension (It's hit a gutter and I got it cheap through the trade)
It's on the ramp at the moment with bits hanging off everywhere.. So these are a welcome bonus.
My B4s have just arrived too so that will be 2 Z4s in bits over the weekend..
