Clayed & waxed my Z4 M roadster

Post by Color » Wed Aug 22, 2007 4:00 pm

In preparation for our car vacations I clayed and waxed the whole car in order to look the best!

Here's the result. Do I get your approval, Muppet?

Not a spot was left unclayed or unwaxed:

Of course, the wheels were cleaned inside out & polished:

Shine, baby, shine!

Of course, the lights where given the same treatment as the paint.

A lot of work but well, pleased with the results. The neighbours think I'm a weirdo though! One of them asked if there were any paint left on the car after seeing me working on it several evenings in a row.

It looks really good and so well polished. My neighbours usual say, "You have missed a bite " or "can you do mine?"

I don't have neighbors (which is a good thing...I like to wash my vehicles with minimum clothing necesssary) but I am my own worse critic. Good Lord, that is  !!! Fantastic job, your work more then paid off.

Thanks for all the nice comments!! :)

It took me four x 2 hour evenings + half a day. And then I had just done the other daily drive first to get the practice since it's my first time claying. My back was screaming for a cease-fire at the end!

Is it just me or is that M badge on the right side a little crooked. Have you used a level on it
