What did you make of driving Buttertubs Pass ?
I thought views were nice but otherwise from a drivers point of view slightly disappointed i appreciate many make a beeline for it but for me there are better roads less well known that give more driving pleasure
I much preferred the road at the end of the pass from thwaite to Kirkby Stephen. Having said that I stopped for that pic then had a good blast down with no other traffic either way, a few nice turns as you start then it settles to being quite straight although bumpy.
Yea , i found there were better surfaces & just generally more enjoyable roads both on the route there & away
When looking for the pass on Friday I took a wrong turn. Went from Hawes towards ingleton. After a good few miles on a great road I realised I was going the wrong way. I pulled over and checked the map and went to turn around as a 3.0 z3 went past. I made chase and caught him towards the end, he seemed to know the road well. He then made a left then pulled into his driveway haha. I do like to follow someone who knows a road well, gives you much more confidence.

My submission, from about 70ft, forgot to take a snap from higher
I guess you're building up to the shot following your Zed down a windy country lane
Yup, trying to master the "spotlight" mode in the active track, basically makes your subject the centre of the video, flys around you and still tracks it.
