I decided on the brushed aluminium trim to lighten things up a bit in the cabin - just thought the carbon leather was a bit dark.
Maybe it works better on the roadsters?
Having said that, it certainly looked pretty damned good on the new M3 at the Motorexpo...

Always feel a bit cheated to "downgrade" a componenent though ... the alu is standard on the other models, where you have to pay extra (a lot) to get the carbon dash.

Cheers, looks great. I think because a lot of people have already had a roadster then they would rather have the carbon leather, I know I would if I upgraded to an ///M because otherwise it would feel a bit too familiar, but as this is your first Z4 then it's not an issue for you.
