Got a ride in this beauty tonight, friend is a member of Ecurie25 and had this for company today, fantastic machine and a great sound when you open up the taps. Handling is fantastic, sadly I couldnt drive it as for fear of the £5000 excess if you have a prang!! :o Had a few blasts through the Hatfield Tunnel if any of you are familiar with it... If only I had more money, great bit of kit!!

JayD great pics, your mate is lucky!

Did you notice if the GT3 was still wearing Michelin PS Cups, or had they swapped them out for something less lairy?

ok... sounds like I'm jealous (I am, but that's not the point)... but doesn't the Z4 look so much nicer than the Porker?! (Ok, performance may be another matter)

Not the cups Mike, not suprising as the car is on a supercar club fleet so I guess they would go through them every few weeks!!

It was wearing Pirelli Pzero Rosso's, got them nice and warm though! :P

It's because the Porsche's front end looks too busy, and as you follow toward the back it becomes too bland. The spoiler also looks like an afterthought.

Oooh I do love the 997 GT3. Very jealous here :P

Well.. nearly - I do like the Z4MC just as much. But I'd have a tough call deciding which I prefer on the looks factor. Porsche got themselves back on track a bit with the 997 IMO. The 996 was such a styling disaster after the beauty of the 993...
