Touristenfahrten Nürburgring Nordschleife!!!!

So on May 24, 2013 I popped my Green Hell cherry. I drove a good bit slower than I thought I would because I noticed my car was vibrating in the 100+ mark and I had a boot full of clothes and a passenger (I don't normally push super hard with passengers). I'd say I probably drove about 6 tenths on the first lap 7 tenths on the second lap.
Yes due to time/money constraints I could only do 2 laps.

So what did I learn? Nurburgring is a very humbling track. I don't even think I was passed that much when I had a leaking tire and was doing 50mph down a motorway. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: But hey, I kept the shiny side up. I'll post some pics now, but I still need to sift through my Germany pictures off the DSLR. For now here are the pics I have plus two youtube vidoes!

After two laps plus being unable to get it washed the entire time I was in Germany  :

The only editing I did to the videos was to sound, it sucks though for some reason Youtube wouldn't allow me to upload the full HD video. I used the Go Pro Hero 2 for the vid. The 1st 8 pictures are with my Samsung S3.

If the weather was even half decent, there will have been a good few photographers round the ring so you should be able to find a few more

BTW, not sure who this is as I didn't get a chance to talk to him but he's from this side of the channel...

I'm tempted to do a training session with RSR, especially if the lovely Frau Schmitz is doing the teaching

I don't think she works for RSR ?? But in any case, other than a single lap at a very steady pace just to say you've done it... being a Brit with our stupid British insurance means that anyone going and having a hoon round there on TF is deluded. Learning it with an instructor in one of their vehicles and then doing a specific trackday on the NS in ones own Z4 is the way to go.
