Alison and I had a little run around the Lake District last Saturday whilst the England match was on. The roads were so empty !

Beautiful scenery but not my favourite place to drive usually however it was possibly the best day of driving I've ever had in the Lakes

No idiots, tourists or 'great unwashed' !

Scafell, Scafell Pike and Ill Crag (over windscreen L to R) from the Austhwaite Brow road between Ulpha and Eskdale Green.
