I used to think that until I bought the new E89!

I really like the 1st gen shape of the Coupe (never really a fan of the Roadster to be honest). Seeing them side by side here is a good comparison. Personally I think they both look great. They are different enough to not really be able to compare them. I'd be happy owning both also!

Saying that, from the front the old one looks quite "cute" now compared to the more aggressive looking E89!

The E86 was made for 19" CSL wheels!

Not a big fan of the M Sport rear bumper for the E89 but that colour with those black wheels is one of the best M Sport kitted E89's I've seen so far.

I love the new shape. I think its much more aggressive looking. If I had the money, I would've gone for that.

By the way, what exhaust is on that E89?

Yeah the pipe's sound really good although they where rather on the dear side. but i would say they are worth it tho

the coupe looks amazing, a good combination with the wheels & roof etc. really nice.

As for the new z4, still not 100%, although the one in your picture is crying out for a good clean !
