A few pics from Santa Pod today
A few of my attempts. Oh and it's MUCH harder to get right than it looks

After a load of 14s runs I got a best of 13.9s @ 101.33mph, but still with a 0.6s reactionsixspeed wrote:Do you mind me asking what your times were?
I think with a good start I could have got down to about 13.5s today.

That's still a tidy time! Was it dry out there today? I was up in Birmingham today and it was fairly drizzly all day...

It was dry but I did hear a few people complain about a fair old headwind knocking the times down a bit.
I was a little shocked how hard it was to get under 14s to be honest, it's a lot harder to launch an M at the pod than you'd think, it sounds like the diffs trying to escape at times

Re: Pics from Santa Pod
I know what you mean. I've only run at the Pod once, and that was in my old Tuscan S - and in that I managed only a 13.6 (should have been capable of 12s..). It is very tricky to get a good launch!
Looks like it was a good day though!

Jay I have to confess I've only posted the pics where I'm edging ahead, you might be surprised how well a 540 touring can get off the lineJayD wrote:Nice one James, good to see you were edging ahead on the pics!

Yes that was peppernicks car, I didn't get chance to meet him as I spent half the day queuing for the strip. I think I saw peppernick get a 13.6s run.
