Deserted looks so wrong.
I took a walk around the local area this morning. Around 11AM on possibly the nicest Bank Holiday Saturday you could imagine, I passed through the heart of Saltash Waterfront.
First time since this thing hit I have been any where near town. I was expecting to at least see some one. Not a soul, very very wrong.

Buzy, I think you mean it looks weird - just now it actually looks right!
Thankfully some people seem to be taking notice of what we are being told to do.

I do like the quietness, with less cars and planes, the world is much more peaceful

Isn’t it spooky...! I HAD to venture out yesterday for a 6 mile run to pick essentials up for a job I’m doing from my lock up over the moors....normally it’s heaving with good Friday traffic, I think I passed 3 vehicles and one white McLaren passing me finding out how quick he could make it go....
Bloody eerie....never seen anything like it, even the foot and mouth thing wasn’t this quiet.

It's safe, it's how it needs to be right now and it's good to know all the local youngsters are safe indoors. But it will never be right for skate parks and town centres to be empty of people on beautiful days like this.
Semantics I know but it just felt wrong, like Sarah Connor looking at the kids playground. I'm sure you remember the scene.

Thx, yes he is well and has applied for citizenship. He was meant to be coming over here for a month in May to sort out shipping some bits over and to sell his car, that"s still sat on our drive slowly rotting. Obviously not coming now. safe is better though. .Hope you and yours are safe and well also.Haggisman wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2020 3:32 amBuzyg, same here in NZ. All good here, can see the travel barriers there for a while but NZ coping well. Supermarket trips are “interesting” and police cracking down on unnecessary travel, makes top down travel in the Z to the shops an attention grabber but keeps the wheels going round.
