A question for all the confessed, or secret, ladies out there :poke:

When tightening the new Wheels, the bolts obviously eat into the lacquer a little as you tighten them... This gets me nervous :!:

Do you think I can use nail varnish top coat lacquer, just to put around the bolt heads once tightened; I may have some kicking around (the wife's naturally :tumbleweed: )

I just don't want it to damage the lacquer, or to prevent me from removing the bolts in future :fuelfire:

Thanks.

Loving the new look and also the colour of the car but then I am biased

Yesterday I also replaced my run flats for normal tyres and although I was expecting a positive change I wasn’t prepared for the enormous difference it made. Much, much quieter and so much more comfortable! Can’t vouch for the handling yet as I want to put a couple of hundred miles on the tyres before I push them but initial feel is very good - wish I’d made the change ages ago. Can really enjoy the car now without worrying so much about cracking the rims :D

I read a lot of chat about getting rid of run flats, and everyone seems very happy with the result. One serious question, what is the plan when you get a flat?

Now I wish I hadn't looked at your post :( I'm still looking for a red zed - nearly settled for a white or space grey but looking at yours it's just got to be red :D :D What model is it ?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the OP's car is Velencia Orange rather than red

Use the inflation kit I bought or failing that, call on the breakdown service I have cover with.
