my new "custom" poster - what's the verdict?

Recipe: take a jpg from the BMW press release for the Z4MC from 2006. Create poster online from it via any of the zillion of poster creators on the web (I used posterburner.com). Choose size, & frame if desired. Poof.

The results were spectacular. This one is 28x22 so it's quite large. It has a nice frame and cover material. Total cost, including frame & shipping: $73.47. Could have been much cheaper had I kept it smaller, unframed, etc. But turned out great as it is. I'm in the USA but I'm sure there are companies worldwide that do this, so you should be able to do the same thing but closer to home, to keep costs in check.

Now I have to decide whether it goes in the den, or out in the garage with the car. Decisions decisions.

If anyone else wants to do this. go to the last page of pics here...

https://www.kcphotodump.net/Cars/BMW-Z4-M-Coupe/

.. and grab whichever one you want and have at it.

Hi Op
Really like that, very cool.
In the den, you have the real thing in the garage.

Looks great.
Think it would look cool aa a blueprint too perhaps.
Being in the US that looks like 1st angle projection too?
Never did find out why the UK settled on 3rd angle projection for technical drawings.
:?

The actual document has "BMW AG" copyright info and further stuff in German, so I think it's a BMW AG document, not BMW USA. I edited it off the bottom so that the poster company wouldn't balk at printing it.

It looks better in the flesh than it does in a picture. I'll get another shot when I get it up on the wall in the next day or so.

^^ LOVE that one better than what I had printed. Are those still available, and is/was there a coupe version?

It was a guy from the USA that was doing them and he would personalise them to your spec and then email the PDF for you to get printed. I think he was charging about $35
